Welcome at the Paranoid Images Ltd. Gallery presenting the work of Guillaume LEROUX.
Starting with an OM 101 at the begining of the 90's, i've truly been into taking photos when i got my first digital camera in 2000. After my honest 1.3Mpixels started to show some weakness, i bought a nice DSC-P93 which i used a lot until i found how to finally edit the manual settings... Reading the fucking manuals is important in case you don't. Basically, after finding how to manually set the aperture size & the shutter speed, i found myself a little frustrated, i needed a DSLR. In august 2006, i finally make the step into what has since, changed my life. I bought the Canon EOS 350D with the average 18/55 kitlens. Since i'm a geek, i couldn't stick to this setup. I had to get more lenses. The prices of nowadays lenses was way out of my league so after reading a few articles on the web, i decided to give a try to the old M42 mount which was quite affordable and still pretty competitive with the actual market offer. As with music and analog gears, i started to understand a little bit more of the way it works with photography. I decided to stick to M42 and manual lenses for good and i only work this way. I rarely use any autofocus lenses apart for some of my latest selfportrait.
I became "pro" in february 2007 so if you are interested to hire me for a photo session, please use the contact link at the bottom of the page. You can see some of my "real" work in the "Pro" album.
Enjoy this Gallery!
Guillaume
IMPORTANT UPDATE : I have inverted the navigation in the albums, now when you click a photo, it brings the photo page instead of the "Lightbox", its less convinient but it's more accurate for counting views on each photos. If you want to use the "Ligthbox", click on this icon
