A suivre…

The final tracklisting for “DrMacabre’s Classics From The Attic Volume 1″ is :
Chaos Effect
My Beat
Shut The Fuck Up
Gates of Heaven
A special care has been taken regarding the remastering of each track. In other words, its has not only been processed thru L2 maximiser like all the previous repress we did in the past. We have tryed to correct as much as possible all the mistakes made when mixing the tracks in the first place, unwanted frequencies have been removed, dynamic improved.
Check out the samples, they speak for themselves.
Chaos Effect Original mix / Chaos Effect remastered mix
We are not sleeping at the Paranoid Section, right after Don Rimini’s remixes, Manu Le Malin and myself are preparing a remix for the upcoming Birdy Nam Nam CD and finally, we have allmost completed the mastering of Manu’s new CD album which is going to be released pretty soon.

Discogs & Ebay freaks, get ready to save some good money with this. Haunted House Records is going for a rerun. All DrMacabre’s classics repressed on vinyl for the last time ever. After this batch of records, you’ll have to suck a donkey to get any of these old darkcore whatever it is called now classics.
At the same time, we will put some tracks never released on vinyl. So be prepared cause there will be little quantity for each volume.
Volume One will include the all time classic “Chaos Effect”. Yeah !
Artwork preview subject to change without any notice.

Today i’ve bought some new monitors for the studio, after 7 years of good work (yeah right no shit !) with the Alesis Monitor One, i finally took the step into the $$ hungry world of upper class studio monitoring. Yes ok, i know, i’m late on this, i should have noticed before that all my mixes are overcrowded with shit bass and lacks of medium. Now all this will be history thanks to my new Dynaudio BM6A. Basically, i got this pair of active speakers for peanuts, a big bag, but still, it was affordable and i think it worth every penny (penis?!).
If you are looking for serious monitoring for your studio, check out all the reviews around the net (by typing into google : “i’m an idiot” for instance).

The 27th of february 1993, a little group of peoples called “Fantom” throwed the biggest party ever made in Paris, about 6000 peoples in a large warehouse area with lots of goodies in it.
It was my fift live performance as Lunatic Asylum, The Meltdown was going to be performed for the first time. Its been 14 years i had this little home video we shot before and during the event, unfortunally, the audio was just crap so i kept it for my own pleasure/torture.
Thanks to Juan Trip, he managed to get his hand on the precious DAT recorded during my performance making it possible for me to put the video and audio back together. This is not the ultimate party video ever made but i don’t think there is much videos from that era, especially showing the heart of the underground scene of the period, the radio FG.
Just to name a few, on this video you’ll see : Lunatic Asylum of course, in its original formation, Juan Trip, Patrick Rognant, Sol, DJ L’aquarium, Michel Pilot, Frederic Djaaleb, some original Spiral Tribes guys, my mother and her boyfriend dancing on the floor during the meltdown, Jeff Hicter who later made “Weapons” and many more.
So as a tribute to what allmost started it all,
here is the Lunatic Asylum Live at Nostromo.
Enjoy !
WARNING ! 240 megs video !

We are about to compile some unreleased material on CD. Just to let you know. This CD won’t be available anywhere but on our partner online shop.
as soon as the project is more advanced, we will post some more info.
This might be your last chance to get something from us on the musical side. So grab it or as usual, you gonna cry in 4 years that this was the bomb and you can’t find it anywhere at reasonable price.
Of course, you won’t be copying it from internet cause this is bad and you know why you don’t get much music from us this days.
Stay tuned.
