Gallery updated !

July 15th, 2007

Hi, the gallery has been updated with some (not much actually) photos from the 14th of july night in Paris & a sunny afternoon at the Parc shooting peoples randomly… Sounds like a sniper on the loose.

I’m looking for models, female, gorgeous and half naked. First because i’m a pervert and second, because i need to practice and get more confident when shooting peoples. If you are interested and in Paris area, drop me a mail.

HDRI

May 8th, 2007

Just discovered the HDRI principle.

In computer graphics and photography, high dynamic range imaging (HDRI) is a set of techniques that allow a far greater dynamic range of exposures (i.e. a large difference between light and dark areas) than normal digital imaging techniques. The intention of HDRI is to accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes ranging from direct sunlight to the deepest shadows.

A little word about photography.

March 23rd, 2007

I’m not talking much about my work as a photographer but today, i just want to share some of my recent discovery. This is not new but this is the first time i’m looking at it.

Andy B&W plugin for Bibble :

I’ve been working with a software called Bibble for about 2 months now, after spending most of my time on Capture 1, i wanted to try all the others softwares dedicated to raw files and Bibble looked like a nice alternative on the paper. Basically, Bibble hosts plugins to manipulate your photos deeper than with the factory tools. here is the description you can find on the website.

“Andy mathematically simulates the effects of film exposure/development and paper exposure/development and final viewing. It may be the highest quality analog black and white conversion tool available. If you understand “darkroom,” Andy speaks your language.”

A bit of noise ninja to clean up the picture and just a very little focus blade on photoshop to give more sharpness to the final product.

Do i have to say more ?

Andy comes in 2 versions, one is totally free and provides 10 films + 10 papers and the pro version costs $20 and comes with a lot more.

For more information, check out this page.

Wine Evolution 2007

January 31st, 2007

As for my first “serious” photographer job, i was hired to cover an event called “Wine Evolution 2007″

2 days of walking+shooting with a results of 1160 shots. The location was quite ok, Palais des Congrès de Paris - France. The architecture is nice to shoot but the interior décoration are just plain “vomit enabled” carpet and wall fake marble textures. I had the chance to sneak around before i got kicked out by a local fireman/security member. Whil i’m still sorting all the photos, i might be able to post a few tonight allready.

So be sure to check out the photoblog
